Getaway Brewing in Historic Downtown Dublin is hiring a Bartender. If you love craft beer, great conversation, and keeping a busy bar running smoothly, we'd love to meet you.

Job Summary

As a Bartender at Getaway Brewing, you'll be the face of our taproom — pouring beer, mixing drinks, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through the door. You'll work closely with our kitchen team (including The Pizza Box) to deliver a great overall visit.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences

  • Take food orders, coordinate with kitchen staff or food partners, and deliver food to guests

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment

  • Process transactions accurately using Toast POS, including cash handling

  • Engage with guests in a friendly, knowledgeable manner and provide beverage recommendations

  • Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Ohio laws

  • Manage time effectively during high-volume shifts

  • Collaborate with barbacks, managers, and teammates to create a seamless guest experience

  • Be flexible and willing to work across multiple locations when needed

Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions

  • Interest in craft beer, cocktails, and hospitality-driven service

  • Familiarity with food safety standards preferred

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform well in a fast-paced environment

  • Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred

  • Must be 21+ to apply
