Packaging Technician / Brewery Packaging Operator
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Packaging Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining our canning line and keg washer/filler, ensuring high-quality packaged beer while minimizing waste and downtime. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and taking ownership of their process.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain the canning line and keg washer/filler
Perform preventative maintenance and make mechanical adjustments to improve equipment performance
Transition the canning line between multiple can sizes on a weekly basis
Monitor and improve package quality, including dissolved oxygen (DO) mitigation and proper seamer operation
Keep accurate and organized production and maintenance records
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, minimize product loss, and increase daily and weekly output
Troubleshoot packaging issues and work proactively to prevent repeat problems
Assist with minor cellaring tasks as needed, including:
Tank CIP
Carbonation
General cellar support
Qualifications & Skills
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment
Prior brewery packaging, production, or manufacturing experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
Ability to follow SOPs while also thinking critically about improvements
